Nest on Newcastle – E6

Positive: I don't understand the negativity from past reviews. Room is clean - functional, spotless bedding-towels and not small (relative to rooms in central London or Paris!). Kitchen has all sort of utensils, equipments, oil and basic seasonings (it is shared, in different floor, at least it doesn't make my bed smell of food). Negative: - No desk/chair for working with laptop. - Although kitchen surfaces are clean, inside the drawers definitely need a good wipe and cleaning. Some inconsiderate guests returns sticky spoons/pans and no staff checking the cleanliness.

Positive: Location Negative: I reported the ironing board was broken same room , when i stayed there before

The unit was well located. A little expensive and a few shortcomings but lots of pluses. Positive: Good location and comfortable. Public transport reasonably close. Clean and good bed. Reasonably quiet. Negative: Hand basin drainage was partially blocked so it backed up. No fruit knife or cutting board for preparing fruit or salad. Safe was locked open so unusable. These things were reported during the stay and acknowledged but nothing was done to rectify the shortcomings.
