Coastal Beauty in Alkimos

Did not meet expectations Positive: We recently stayed at this property for 8 nights at a cost, but unfortunately, the experience did not represent good value for money. While the home appeared clean on arrival, the overall level of comfort was well below expectations. The two front rooms have no air conditioning or ceiling fans, making them uncomfortably warm. The furniture throughout the property felt low quality and was not comfortable, and the beds were extremely firm (low quality), which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The property was also poorly equipped for a stay of this length. Basic items were either insufficiently supplied, for example, limited coffee capsules, the water temperature is set at the lowest temperature point, basically luke warm water for showers. Both bins were also full. A hazardous step that we tripped over. Communication from the Let's Go management was excessive and, at times, intrusive. We received multiple messages throughout the week, including repeated reminders about tasks we had already completed, such as taking out the bins. At one point, we were contacted again on the same day to bring in the bins, which gave the impression that the property was being actively monitored during our stay. This felt uncomfortable. We left the house in a very clean condition however, we were again contacted regarding a minor stain on a pillowcase and faced the prospect of additional charges, being framed as 'our cooperation is required for a smooth transaction.” This felt unreasonable given the overall circumstances and cost of the stay (over $3,200 incl. cleaning costs). Overall, the lack of comfort, limited amenities, and intrusive communication made this a disappointing stay. Negative: Based on our experience, we would not consider this property (or the company who manage the property) good value and would encourage future guests to carefully consider whether it meets their expectations for such a higher cost compared to other options.
